Facts about Sunny

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: A50K2
  • Hair: Short
I have been with BTKR since infancy, with the exception of 9 months with an adopter who returned my brother and I once our kitten days were over. I LOVE to climb, chase lasers, play, and nap in the sun. I am entertaining, sweet, and snuggly. Independent, I am a good cat for someone with a fairly active lifestyle. My brother, Rain, wouldn't mind staying with me, but it is not essential. My $50 adoption fee includes spay, rabies, full FVRCP series, neg. FIV/FeLV test, worming, microchip, and flea preventative. I can go home with approved Adoption Questionnaire, payment of adoption fee, possible home inspection, and signed Adoption Contract. If you want to add me to your family, call us at 757-651-0206 or email us with Cat Cafe Adoption - Sunny as the Subject.

About Billy the Kidden Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

The mission of Billy the Kidden Rescue is to improve the lives of displaced cats and kittens, and reduce feral cat populations in Hampton Roads, by socializing outdoor-born and unwanted kittens for adoption into forever homes.
We specialize in TNR (Trap/Neuter/Return) and feral kitten socialization. We provide "working cats" to farms, barns, breweries, warehouses, vineyards, and other places. We also help with lost cats and kittens, long term fostering, SELECT rehoming situations, cat behavioral and nutritional advice, and infant kitten rescue.

Donate to Our Rescue Group...

Donations can be made to our Pay Pal account at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com or can be sent via mail to Billy the Kidden Rescue, PO BOX 16919, Chesapeake, VA 23328.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our pets are available for Meet and Greets at their various fosters homes or at our cattery at Pups n Stuff in Virginia Beach for fosters who do not show animals in their home. Appointments must be scheduled in advance and a Board Member must approve all adoptions.
At Pups n Stuff, you can come see some of our ready to go adoptables. It is at 4330 Holland Rd. in Virginia Beach. The Store hours are Tu-Sat 12:00 - 8:00pm and Sundays 12:00 - 6:00pm Closed on Mondays. We do not have cattery staff on hand during all business hours. However if you let us know you are going we can be sure a staff member is there to meet you, so you can go in the cattery and play with the kitties! If you do go during a time when we aren't there you can look at the kitties through the window and pick up some of our information, but will have to come back actually play with them. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Our Adoption Process...

We have an adoption questionnaire to learn a bit about the home our rescue animals will be going to and the family's motivation for adoption and expectations about pet ownership. We also have an adoption contract, which includes a no declawing and indoor only clause. Our adoption fees range from $25 to $130, depending on vetting costs. Our Career Cat adoption fee is $25. Our adoption fee for adults, vetted rehoming cases, special needs, and kittens over 6 months is usually $50- $75. Most kittens have an adiption fee of $100 if not microchipped and $130 if microchipped. Sometimes we require rental checks or home inspections. We always have a Meet n Greet to make sure everyone gets along. We encourage bringing the whole family, especially the furry members.
