Gray's Story...
Posted 8/19/16. Gray is a super cute and extremely affectionate, cuddly and very playful little kitty! He was rescued by our veterinarian who is fostering him at her practice Heal Pet Care in Bloomfield, IN. Gray is rather petite, he is just 1 year old, he is neutered, current on vaccinations and he tested negative for FeLV/FIV. It would be nice if he could go to a home where there is another kitty he can play with! :) If you are interested in adopting this fun loving boy please contact the Vet office directly: 812-227-8169 and ask about Gray. If you are ready to adopt you can fill out an adoption application on our web site:http://inthenest.net/adopt-a-cat
There is no adoption fee but you can make a donation to the Heal Pet care Fund at the vet office.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gray, a Bloomington Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bloomington, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bloomington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomington paves the way for another one to be saved.
