Beckham's Story...
Beckham is a 5 month old male pit bull puppy looking for his forever home!

Beckham was brought to the Waco animal shelter after being picked up by animal control in August. He was very skinny and had a nasty case of both demodex & sarcoptic mange that had been left untreated for so long that he was completely crusty, scabby, and oozy. Beckham was enflamed and raw and so, so miserable. But even with his obvious discomfort, he was still incredibly sweet and wanted nothing more than to snuggle!

Beckham is now 100% healed & healthy (completely off the mange meds!) and looks *fantastic!* We could not believe our eyes when we saw his transformation! Beckham is a happy, happy boy, who is still on the smaller side, does well with the other animals and toddler in his foster home, is potty trained, and very sweet! Beckham is now ready for a forever home to call his own!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beckham, a College Station Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in College Station, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in College Station.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in College Station already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a College Station breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in College Station paves the way for another one to be saved.
