Meet the BF Gang!

Felix is a 5 month old (born End of May, 2016) Male Black Kitten. He’s house trained, up to date on vaccinations and is neutered.

Felix is one of a large gang rescued from Burks Falls. These kittens would have had a tough life if left to fend on their own but luckily for them a lovely lady reached out to MAR to give them a better life where they will be safe and know what it feels like to be loved.

Felix is a cuddly cat once he gets to know you, at first he can be a little shy but he sure comes around fast! He really enjoys his treats! He’s ready and waiting for a forever home.

*Though our volunteers try their best, we cannot guarantee that any rescued animal will be a perfect match for each resident, child, or resident pet in every foster/forever home.*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Felix - Adopted December 2016, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
