Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Marvelous Marvin Is Ready for His Furever Home
8-year-old, large, black and tan, male, German Shepherd
Good with other dogs: Yes Good with children: Unknown Good with cats: Unknown
Marvin came from the animal control shelter in California where he was surrendered by his owner without even a name. You can tell he didn’t get much attention because all he wants is love and affection. This poor fellow just hasn’t had a great life. He’s got some skin issues that are starting to clear up, but he will likely need follow up care. Marvin is an incredibly sweet boy. And look at those eyes! Marvin has such kind and expressive eyes that we just want to hug him and try to make up for his previous eight years.
Marvin absolutely loves to play ball. He’s a pretty mellow boy so he might be OK with children, but we really don’t know. And since he’s on the large side, it’s likely he’d be better off with older children who aren’t easily knocked over. We also don’t know if he’s good with cats. He gets along well with other dogs and would likely love a buddy to play ball with. This fellow is such a sweetheart that you can’t help but fall in love with him as soon as you meet him.
As always, if you are interested in a Saving Paws dog, you must fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many juggle family and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient, as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
