My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Belgian Malinois Needs an Active, Loving Home
Young, female, Belgian Malinois Good with other dogs: Selective Good with children: Unknown Good with cats: Unknown
If you live an active lifestyle and want a companion, Felicity is your girl! Felicity and her puppy were surrendered to the shelter in California after her previous owner decided he didn’t want to fix his fence to make it safe for them. Can you imagine giving up this beautiful girl over a fence?
Felicity is a Belgian Malinois, a breed known for intelligence and high energy, so any adopter needs to be prepared to provide physical and mental stimulation. These dogs are as smart as they come, and they need activity to keep them out of trouble.
Felicity can be dog selective, so she’ll need to meet other dogs in the household in advance. But she’s very sweet and eager to please and loves people. She’s still a little timid and shy after her time in the shelter in California, but our volunteers are starting to see her personality poke through with each day.
Felicity would love to go hiking or running. She’d even be up for dog sports if you’re so inclined. These dogs are excellent with agility.
As always, if you are interested in a Saving Paws dog, you must fill out our online application to get the approval process started. We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many juggle family and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient, as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
