My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Trixie
Born May 3, 2015, Female, Tortie Siberian
Bonded with Ebony; must be adopted together

Yes we know…isn’t she LOVELY? Aside from being a stunning girl, Trixie is a sweet, sweet girl. She gives you that little “elevator butt” when she is being petted. Yes, pet me, pet me, oh that feels so good…purr, purr, purr. Given the fact that she and her brother, Ebony, came into their foster home very scared and unsocialized, Trixie has made vast improvements in her acceptance and trust of humans.

Trixie and Ebony were rescued from a breeder who contacted our organization for assistance. Although the breeder clearly loved these kitties very much, she also realized they needed to be socialized before they were ready for adoption. Trusting our organization’s reputation and the fact that we had foster space available, she asked us to take them in and find them forever homes.

Trixie relies on her big brother Ebony for comfort and companionship. Just look at that picture of them together…how much cuter can a couple be? They love to chase each other and when they are not chasing each other, Trixie knows how to entertain herself by pulling all kinds of toys out of the toy box and playing with them on her own. She is just so delightful and you can tell that the world is her oyster with so many things yet to explore and experience.

Trixie will need to be adopted with her handsome brother Ebony. These two are a bonded pair and will enjoy a lifetime of harmonious kitty companionship. They also get along splendidly with the gentle resident cats, so we would expect they should do well in a multi-cat household after proper introductions.

Trixie will come to you spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. She eats both wet and dry food and is litterbox perfect. Trixie is fostered in the Elk Grove area.
