Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Simon is about 4 years old and you have to wonder how he can still be so nice after the way he was treated? Simon was one of many dogs that were living in horrendous conditions where feces and garbage covered their "home". Simon was so scared when he arrived and would not even walk outside. He was never aggressive, but poor Simon just didn't know what to make of his new situation. After many weeks of working with Simon to get him over his fears, he is finally comfortable, relaxed, taking walks and having fun. He is still a bit nervous with new people so Simon will need a commotion-free home and an experienced dog owner that will give him plenty of love and patience while he gets settled in. This Great Pyrenees/Coonhound mix is so incredibly sweet and is a big leaner. He bonds quickly with people and will practically slap you by offering you a pawshake and hoping you'll accept his friendship. He is very polite and mannerly and gets along fine with most dogs. Simon is ready to start life over with a great family that will love him forever. File#26356 6/15/16
