Incredibly sweet Bailey is an 8 year old, 10 pound Shih Tzu. An excerpt from her foster mama:
Bailey is truly one of the sweetest, kindest dogs I have ever encountered. She is not nervous at all in an insane house of 3 kids, 2 other dogs and a very unfriendly cat. She has fit right in. She is a perfect dog for someone home all day or someone that works. She will sleep quietly in her crate when we are gone, never a complaint. She loves to sit on the couch with us when we are watching TV and when my teenager comes home from school, she immediately goes up to her bed and sits with her. Because of Bailey's diabetes she will require two shots a day for the rest of her life. I am extremely needle phobic (extremely) so I surprised myself that I was going to take this on. I can't believe what a non issue these shots are. She doesn't even notice them and I give them easily and without issue now. If anyone is fearful of that, there is truly no need. I can't emphasize enough what a kind dog she is. When I took her to the vet, she told me everyone adores her. When you hold her in your arms, she starts to fall asleep pretty much immediately. We have a backyard and she comes outside and sits with us. She never barks and never growls. She has a sweet little face.
She loves outside. She sniffs around and enjoys sunbathing. Her favorite thing to do is cuddle. If you want a couch potato who will sit with you for long hours, shes your girl. She is undemanding and just happy to be with her human. She enjoys chew sticks and loves to be pet. She is also a great traveler!
