Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Pippy" is a cute 4-year old female Chihuahua mix who was surrendered by her owner on September 2, 2016 along with "Baby" (another cute Chihuahua girl) who shared her previous home. "Pippy" has a black-and-white short smooth coat, a long tail, and a beautiful face with characteristic Chihuahua features including extra-large erect ears. "Pippy" appears to have a cherry-eye condition in her right eye (which is easily corrected with a minor surgical procedure), so she will be seeing a veterinarian in the near future. Her previous owner told us that "Pippy" is good with children and other dogs, but that she had not been around cats. She has been kept indoors and is housebroken. "Pippy" is a small girl who weighs just 10.6 lbs. She was understandably nervous about being in a small cage when we stopped by to take her photos soon after her arrival :( We opted to take preliminary pictures there so that potential adopters would know that she is in our shelter and desperately needs a loving home. We promised her that we would take more flattering photos when she felt more comfortable and was ready to pose for an outdoor photo session <3 UPDATE: :"Pippy" went home with one of our wonderful foster mothers on September 7, 2016. She was spayed on October 11, 2016 and was given rabies vaccine. Pippy's cherry eye condition has also been corrected.
