4 mo pink white chinchilla's Info...

4 mo pink white chinchilla's Story...
We have a pink white male chinchilla who’s looking for his new home. He came to NWI just a bit ago, and is now ready to leave and go to a family of his own.

He was born around 4/20/16, making him right around 4 months old. His color is called pink white, which is typically an overall white body color, but can also have some beige coloration. This guy is pretty much solid white.

He is a fun little boy, very active and enjoys checking out all sorts of new things! He’s relatively easy to catch, but once you have him out, he wants to explore! When he’s old enough (6+ months), he would enjoy playtime or a wheel to help burn off some of this excess energy. Don’t sell him short though, you can definitely hold him and pet him, just keep in mind that while you are doing so, he may be climbing on your shoulders, your head, checking out your hair… He’s just adorable though, and we love him. He doesn’t bite.

He would make a great “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had one before, as long as you understand that he definitely is more of an active boy.

This chinchilla is currently caged alone. However, if you interested in pairing him up with your, or one of our, chinchillas, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.

This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (Tradition pellets), a goodie bag of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. He will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.

Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.

This chinchilla is located in Hammond, Indiana (zip code 46324). Sorry, but we do not ship.

The fee for this pink white male chinchilla is $200

Why Adoption is a Great Option

4 mo pink white chinchilla, a Hammond Chinchilla was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chinchilla for sale in Hammond, or seeking a Chinchilla from a breeder in Hammond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hammond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hammond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chinchilla breeders who help with Chinchilla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hammond paves the way for another one to be saved.
