Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Tater Tot. I am about 9 months old and I am a Doxie mix. I was found as a stray at a high kill shelter. Nobody knows my history. How can a cute guy like me be a stray? I don’t know! But thankfully I was rescued by some nice people and I am in a foster home where I can play with other dogs and be taken care versus sit in a shelter. My foster Mom calls me the perfect little puppy because I’m house trained and so far I have not chewed anything. I like to spend time with my foster Mom because she also calls me “Velcro” – I’m always by her side. There’s two other dogs that live here in the house and we play. Sometimes I get too barky, well I am a Doxie and we do bark but I can be redirected and take correction. I’m learning to walk on the leash. I haven’t been around cats so I don’t know how I will be. I hope one day I can have a family of my own. A family that can teach me how to be the best puppy in the world, play ball with me and take me for walks every day. I’ll be able to sit by you – all curled up by your feet and we could live forever and ever as friends. Oh boy, that would be great! All you got to do is come meet me. To meet me you need to go to: www.illinoisanimalrescue.org. Hope to see you soon! Tater Tot.
