Facts about Blip

  • Color: White
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Male
Tiny dog. Huge presence. He is just a wee 5lbs. but Blip has a big personality. He saunters his way into your life and he immediately steals your heart. Although Blip was originally adopted by a loving family during the Clear the Shelters event, it quickly became evident that Blip was too small for the young kids in his home so he became a part of the OMD crew. Even though very young kiddos aren't ideal for our little fluff ball, Blip is all about people so a family with kids 8+ is right up his alley or even a couple with lots of visitors. Blip doesn't discriminate against who is snuggling him (and he is a master cuddler) or which lap is open for snoozing (and a master snorer). The more the merrier as far as this teddy bear is concerned. Blip is happy with other dogs and cats around but due to his miniature size, gentle canine and feline friends would be best. Mr. B also loves the backyard in his foster home but he would be just as happy going for walks (he is great on his leash) and then being carried in someone's arms once he's tired. A car ride or two makes him happy as well. Our 2-3 year old Poodle mix is housebroken when he goes out regularly and he is excellent in his crate. While Blip can occasionally get a little hangry and sometimes a bit grumpy if he doesn't want to wake up from his naps not much else phases this little one. Blip is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. If you are interested in being Blip's forever human, please fill out an application at omdrescue.org.

About One More Dog Rescue (formerly RSHT)

About Our Rescue Group...

One More Dog Rescue, formerly Ruff Start Happy Tails, believes that animals deserve our love, compassion, and respect. Our purpose is to rescue dogs and to provide care for orphaned, stray, and abused dogs. Through rehabilitation, socialization, and adoption, we strive to provide a humane service to all dogs that come into our rescue. Additionally, we provide awareness about the prevention of animal abuse and neglect as well as spay/neuter programs and their important effect on the dog overpopulation crisis.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a Connecticut-based 501c3 dog rescue that will adopt to approved applicants in the surrounding areas.
We do not have a facility - All of our rescue dogs are in loving foster homes.

Our Adoption Process...

One More Dog Rescue (OMD), formerly Ruff Start Happy Tails, requires all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application and agree to a home visit prior to any adoption. Once the application is approved, a meet and greet will be scheduled between the potential adopter (s) and the dog. If the dog is adopted through One More Dog, an adoption contract must be signed, and we ask that a donation in the amount of $350.00 be made at the time of adoption to help our rescue cover a portion of the costs we incur through pull fees, vetting, and training.
