Mango's Story...
Meet Mango! Mango is a lovely calico/tabby girl with beautiful markings, who is approximately three years old. Mango is a sweet, shy girl who is still a bit nervous to leave her cage, but is very friendly when she does. Once she gets to know you, Mango is very social. She loves to curl up in sunny spots to enjoy her naps! A full dinner dish keeps her very happy as well.

Mango was rescued from animal services. She thrived in her foster home, but is now ready for a forever family and home of her own.

Mango gets along well with other cats, especially when the kittens come to visit her! She would love to have another cat friend to play and cuddle with.

Mango is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations.

If you would like to meet beautiful Mango, please come by and visit her at Oakville Pet Smart, or fill out an online application: http://ninthlifecatrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mango, a Oakville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oakville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Oakville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakville paves the way for another one to be saved.
