Xena's Story...
PLEASE COMPLETE OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AT WWW.LOVEBUGSRESCUE.ORG IF YOU'D LIKE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR ADOPTION.

Not only is Xena just about one of the most gorgeous girls we have yet to meet, her sparkling personality makes her truly beautiful both inside and out.

We spied this tiny cutie pie patiently waiting in the shelter for her big break and a chance at a happy new life. Xena is an 8 year old, 4 lb purebred Chihuahua who is determined to make everyone her new best friend. She is wonderful on walks, loves her canine foster siblings and is both crate and potty trained in her foster home. Due to her dainty size, Xena will do best in a home without large dogs and small children. She is definitely the perfect co-pilot for the true Chihuahua lover!

Our adoption fee for Xena is $250 and includes her spay, microchip, vaccines, treatment for fleas and worms and best of all, lots of love and socialization in her foster home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Xena, a Irvine Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
