Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ollie is a 3 1/2 year old male collie mix (possibly Grt. Pry/collie mix) He is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and heart worm negative. He is house trained, crate trained and walks well on a leash.
Ollie weighs 62 pounds and knows basic commands, like stay and sit, and he will gladly shake paws with you.
Ollie gets along great with other dogs and cats. He will chase a cat or squirrel in the yard but hasn't shown any aggression toward either and he will ignore a house cat.
Ollie absolutely adores children! He lived in a home that was also a day care so he is fine living in a busy family home. He is totally content to curl up in the middle of the family room and take a snooze while life happens around him, although he is very much a collie in that he wants to be near his family. He had a tendency to wander away from his previous, unfenced yard, so a good fence is a must.
Ollie is being fostered in KY
If you are interested in this dog, please submit an application on our website. Our organization is run by volunteers and it is hard for them to answer all the emails that come in about dogs. Once we receive your application, an interviewer will call you and try to answer any additional questions you may have. Our application can be found at http://www.tristatecollierescue.org/ under the adopt tab. Thank you.
