Squirt - LOVES people!'s Story...
Squirt is a petite, wonder of a cat, just 4 years old. The number one thing she wants in life is attention. She loves rubbing her head on your legs and hands, begging to be pet. If you don't pay attention to her, she will even jump up to rub her head on your legs, looking for love. She came to us after her owner passed away. Though she lived with other cats in her previous home, she can't seem to adjust to other cats and would do best in a home without cats. She enjoys toys with cat nip. Her previous family described her as affectionate, independent, playful, and a couch potato. She enjoys being picked up, being pet, and sitting in your lap. When she gets a lot of petting, she does give playful love bites occasionally too so she needs an owner who understands that she is just expressing her affection.

I have been around thousands of cats, and she has to be one of the sweetest, loving, lap cats I have ever met!

Tyson's Place Animal Rescue's mission is to assist terminally ill people with finding homes for their pets. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Squirt - LOVES people!, a Jamestown Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Jamestown, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Jamestown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jamestown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jamestown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jamestown paves the way for another one to be saved.
