for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Aretha's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Aretha's Story...
Aretha and her siblings were brought to our rescue as 10 week old babies. This little girl got her foot caught in a corner of her wire cage and managed to break every toe! They were all amputated-except for two of the long bones and she is in recovery from surgery right now- 10/15. Through it all she has been a real love! Purring and licking her caretakers and vet. She will be totally mobile, but will not be able to scratch your furniture with her right paw--a good thing, yes? She is healthy and affectionate, playful and calm (for a baby). Aretha looks for attention and loves to play. (10/3)..She is really a special baby and will make a wonderful pet and companion. She does get along with other cats, but needs a long introduction.
There is no adoption fee for our animals, but a donation towards her vet bills would be much appreciated.
Come and meet our kittens!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Aretha, a Quincy Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Quincy, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Quincy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Quincy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Quincy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Quincy paves the way for another one to be saved.
