My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ATTENTION BEAGLE LOVERS!! Olaf is a young Beagle, between 1-3 years old, who weighs 34 pounds. He was surrendered to a shelter by his owners who said they did not have enough time for him. He gets along very well with the other two Beagles in his foster home. He loves to play with toys -- especially the chew toys. Just like most young dogs, he likes to run and play. Also, he LOVES the 6 year old child in his foster home. Olaf is doing very well with his housebreaking once he got into a routine. He is a smart dog and is learning quickly. He was very unsure about the stairs in his foster home but it did not take long for him to master them. Olaf is a great dog who would be a perfect companion for a Beagle lover. He would do best in a home with another playful dog with whom he can romp, chase, and run.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
