Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sweet little girl, Hershey, was found as a stray and dropped off at a local shelter. The vets think she is about 10 years old and she weighs 11 pounds. Hershey has dry eyes which requires an eye medicine every day. She does not let anything get her down though. She is an extremely sweet, loving, and affectionate dog who loves people. Hershey likes to cuddle and does not mind being handled and picked up. She wags her tail all the time and is a happy little dog. She is very quiet when her foster mom is around. Hershey is housebroken and does not have any accidents when left at home during work hours. She is crated at night and does fine in the crate. Hershey would make a great companion for someone who just wants a calm. loving companion. She would be fine as the only dog. Please note that we do not recommend Hershey to families with children under 5.
We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
