Here's what the humans have to say about me:
"Duchess" is a lovely 2-year old female kitty who arrived at the HSOV on July 8, 2016 along with her four kittens (Berlioz, Marie, O'Malley, and Toulouse). The kittens were just 5-weeks old at that time, and they were very fortunate when one of our wonderful foster mothers took the family home with her on August 3rd.. "Duchess" has been a good mother to her babies and raised them to be happy, socialized youngsters. They are now old enough to find homes of their very own and have recently been spayed/neutered. "Duchess" is a beautiful young lady who will soon be an empty-nester and is looking for a loving home where she will be loved, pampered, and cherished. Often times the mother cats who gave so much of themselves are overlooked :( "Duchess" has a brown tabby medium smooth coat with auburn highlights, a long tail, and a gorgeous face with large golden eyes, a brown nose, and nice ear furnishings. She has a calm, quiet disposition and a sweet personality. "Duchess" loves the large dog in her foster family's home, so we're sure she would enjoy a home with a cat-friendly dog. "Duchess" was given vaccinations and wormer on August 24, 2016. She was spayed on September 7, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine. She is a petite little lady who weighs 6.3 lbs. If you would like to meet "Duchess" and/or her kittens, please call the HSOV at 740.373.5959 or send an email to manager@hsov.org so that we may make arrangements. Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues/fosters.
