Kai's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Kai's Story...
Kai is our 6-7 year old pit bull mix looking for his forever home.

Kai entered our program mid September, after living at the Huntsville Animal Shelter for over 6 months. Kai is heartworm positive and still intact. Over the next few months he will be treated for heartworms and be neutered.

Kai is a very social boy who loves playing with people, dogs and cats, and is doing very well in his foster home. Kai is mostly potty trained (with him still being intact, we're working on marking), kennel trained and knows how to sit on command. This boy wants nothing more than his chance at forever and a best friend to call his own.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kai, a College Station Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in College Station, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in College Station.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in College Station already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a College Station breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in College Station paves the way for another one to be saved.
