Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Chester!
A charming, mature declawed male, our Chester is waiting to meet you! He is approximately 13 years old, but don’t let that deter you from adopting him! He was given the nickname of “Grumpy Old Chester” because he doesn't like other cats, but deep down he's a big softy. Chester should be the only cat in the house so that he can have all your love and attention to himself. At his best in a quiet, more mature setting, Chester is affectionate and likes to be scratched behind his ears and will paw and lick you if you stop. Chester doesn't play much, but give him an empty box and he’ll snuggle right in! You may have trouble working at your desk with Chester around – but only because he loves to curl up right beside you and help! Chester also makes a great alarm clock. His foster dad says he wakes up every morning to Chester rubbing his face.
Chester was rescued from Hamilton Animal Services. Even with the nickname “Grumpy”, the Ninth Life volunteers just could not stand to leave him there. His first foster mom named him Chester, and the name 'Grumpy old Chester' seems to have stuck, but only because of his dislike for other cats. When he first went to a foster home, he had litter box issues. But with a smaller space and no other cats around, he uses his litter box perfectly. Chester also had some dental work done, so he needs small kibble food.
If you're looking for a quiet, mature declawed cat who loves to keep you company, then Chester just might be the cat for you. Chester would love the chance to prove to you and he's not really “Grumpy Old Chester”, but just a big softy.
Chester is neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations.
