Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bentley is a 6 year old male Yorkie-Poo. At least, that's what we think he is. His former owner described him as a Yorkie, but his curly hair says Poodle. Bentley is a tiny little fellow, weighing in at about 6 pounds. Bentley is now looking for a new home because his former owner is homeless and could not take care of him.
Bentley is calm, quiet and gentle, but still has plenty of spunk to play with his toys.. He is cute as a button and as sweet as he can be. He gets along very well with the other dogs in his foster home. He is a special needs fella because he doesn't see all that he should. He can see well enough to know how to jump up into your lap, though, and that's all that matters to him. He is a total snuggle-bunny!
Bentley has degenerating retinas and small cataracts that limit his eyesight. He's able to get around in full daylight, but at night, he struggles to see stairs and walks very cautiously. Eventually, his retinas will fail completely and he will be blind. There's no telling when that might be--months or years from now. However, dogs that are blind do very well in familiar places. They lern to navigate from memory and from sounds and smells.
Bentley has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. His adoption fee is $200.00.
If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please write us at PricelessPets4u@gmail.com and ask for an application to adopt. We are a foster-home based organization, and the adoption process starts when you submit your application. Once that has been approved, we can schedule a time for you to meet Bentley.
