Meet the Bottle Fed Quartet!

Blue is an 15 week old (born End of July, 2016) Female White with Tabby patches Kitten. Blue has one Blue eye! She’s house trained, up to date on vaccinations and will be spayed when she’s old enough.

The Quartet (Sarah, Lily, Blue, and Sandor) were saved by a lovely person from a life in the bush in Parry Sound when they were only 3 weeks old. We’ll never know what happened to their Mama but we sure are glad they are now safe and sound. One of our awesome Volunteer’s bottle fed the Quartet until they were old enough to eat on their own. Now they are all ready to find a forever home!

*Though our volunteers try their best, we cannot guarantee that any rescued animal will be a perfect match for each resident, child, or resident pet in every foster/forever home.*

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blue - Adopted - November 2016, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
