Facts about Bo

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Orange Or Red
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • Hair: Short
Bo, short for bodega, was indeed living inside a store. When his owner no longer wanted him, a customer called to ask if we could take Bo in our adoption center. Born on 8/8/15, this orange and white boy needs a buddy or some toys to keep him from getting bored.

Donate to Our Shelter...

Won't you please sponsor this pet? Click the button above. You can give as much or as little as you like. Your donation is tax deductible. Thank you and our furry ones thank you. Each and every animal here is very special to us. We are dedicated to finding each one just the right home. So for some cats and dogs, that means a much longer stay - as sometimes they are not as outgoing, pretty or have as perfect manners as they could. And because we don't "dispose" of them for this, our cost for keeping them healthy and becoming better companions is high.

Come Meet Our Pets...

306 East 59th Street between 1st & 2nd Avenues in Manhattan. Adoption hours are 10:30am - 4:00pm, 7 days a week.

Our Adoption Process...

The Humane Society of New York does not do "same-day" adoptions. While meeting and interviewing with our adoption director, we will begin the process to see if we have the right pet to match your lifestyle, preferences and personality.
