My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Raisin" is a darling female kitten who was brought to the HSOV on June 23, 2016 after she and her sisters (Oatmeal and Peanut Butter) were found in the Marietta Ohio area. They were tiny 15-day old babies with no mother in sight :( They were not yet weaned but were eating soft mush, so our kennel techs/volunteers began supplementing their food intake by bottle-feeding them with kitten milk replacement. Fortunately for the kittens, one of our wonderful foster mothers took them home with her on July 2, 2016, and they received the extra TLC that they needed in order to survive. "Raisin" has a light brown tabby short smooth coat, a long tail, and an adorable kitten face with innocent trusting eyes. She is a happy little who dearly loves her sisters. Her foster mother brought her (and also her sisters) to the shelter for a visit on August 27th, and we were delighted to see what beautiful young ladies they are today. "Raisin" was given vaccinations and wormer, and she also had her glamour photos taken. She weighed 2.8 lbs. on August 27th. She will be spayed in the near future and ready to find a home of her very own. "Raisin" and her sisters are also available for rescue. Rescue groups may contact our Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation and also provide combo testing without charge to rescues/fosters. UPDATE: "Raisin" was spayed on October 19, 2016 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 4 lbs. on that date.
