Facts about Lucy

  • Breed: Silky Terrier Mix
  • Color: Silver & Tan (Yorkie Colors)
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Small 25 lbs (11 kg) or less
  • Sex: Female
LUCY, a 3 yr Schnauzer and terrier mix, is a very personable, comical, energetic, and small (almost 15lbs) spayed female. Like ALL our adoptables.... she is up-to-date on vaccines, flea free and hw negative. Lucy is a great watchdog...she does not want strangers in her house. She enjoys children (not toddlers) and most adults; she is leery & fearful of some men. She is GOOD with other dogs mostly her size, seems curious about cats - currently does not live with cats. As a "terrier" she does like to chase whatever runs !! Lucy LOVES car rides, being with her human companions, running and playing outside or inside with her favorite squeaky toys ;-) She is learning how to a "walk on a leash", but she would much rather run and jump and play.... like a little puppy ! Lucy is house trained and crate trained. A fenced yard is a definite recommendation for this wonderful little girl. If interested or if you have questions, please email OR visit the ADOPTME page at for an adoption application. Adoptions are typically within a 150 mile radius of Miami County (Troy) OH.

About Dream4Pets

About Our Rescue Group...

DREAM is a network (no facility) of VOLUNTEERS with efforts focused on Rescue, Rehabilitation and RE-homing of companion dogs that are neglected, abandoned and sometimes living in county shelters. Our goals: offer resources to REDUCE the overpopulation of cats and dogs - thus reducing euthanizing, PROVIDE educational resources to assist with "responsible pet ownership" and RAISE FUNDS to help with necessary vetting for the pets we rescue, rehabilitate and re-home.

Our adoptions are never finalized until we are 100% assured there is a perfect match for both the applicant and the dog being adopted. Sending us the adoption application is the first step. You will find the application online (on the Adopt Me page at A home visit and reference checks are also made prior to any adoption. Our adoption process typically takes 2 - 4 weeks after the application has been received..
