Retton's Story...
Retton is such a sweet girl! She gets along well with her foster siblings - a dog and a cat, and is very easy going. She loves to cuddle on the couch, lay in bed, and is very good about going into her crate at bedtime. She loves to be right by your side and is an excellent companion. We can't say enough good things about this girl! She is house and crate trained as well. She's 8 years old, is playful and excited to give lots of love and kisses!

If you're interested in adopting, please visit our website at www.c2cnd.org & click on "adoption process" to fill out an application! Why Adoption is a Great Option

Retton, a Charlotte Beagle/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Dachshund for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Beagle/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Dachshund breeders who help with Beagle/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
