Kodi's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with dogs.

Kodi's Story...
Kodi is a beautiful, 8 year old, female, Standard American Eskimo Dog. Kodi is shy at first to meet new people, but once you earn her trust, she is so sweet. Kodi is rather reserved, cautious in her movement until she is comfortable in her new environment. Kodi was an owner surrender, because her mom lost her home. Kodi was turned in with an 8 year old male, Boe, but the two Eskies are not attached to each other, in fact, they will get competitive for attention. Kodi loves back rubs and walks, she would also enjoy a fenced yard to just hang out with her human in. Kodi can get a little vocal in the car when riding with someone new. Kodi is not recommended for homes with children, she does not have experience with kids. Kodi is spayed, fully vaccinated and microchipped, on heartworm prevention and flea/tick protection.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kodi, a Elmhurst American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Elmhurst, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Elmhurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Elmhurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Elmhurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Elmhurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
