Dreamsicle's Story...
Meet Dreamsicle
Dreamy is such a pretty dainty little girl. She has really unusual light yellow tabby stipes & spots. She looks like a pale cheetah. She came to us with a litter of gorgeous yellow and orange kittens which she lovingly cared for. Her personality is very sweet & gentle. She can be kitten-like at times as she is still so young. We estimate she was born in September, 2015. She seems good with other cats & would be gentle with children. She hasn’t really been tested with dogs yet. Dreamsicle is now spayed & microchipped. She is vaccinated, dewormed, & tested for Feline Leukemia & Feline Immunodeficiency Viruses, so she is ready to find her special home. To meet Dreamsicle, call 540/586-6100 or go to bhva.org to complete an Adoption Application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dreamsicle, a Bedford Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bedford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
