Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Molly is a survivor. Molly came to us as a victim of animal abuse. Molly is a sweet Beagle who was viciously beaten and most likely kicked. She had deep bruising covering her abdomen and her rear legs and hips were swollen. Luckily there were no broken bones or internal damage beyond bruising and inflammation. She needed a safe place to rest and recuperate, and that is what we gave her. Now she is fully healed and ready to find a home that will always treat her like the treasure she is.
Molly is a 4 year old Beagle who weighs 38 pounds. It is amazing that after all she has been through she has the sweetest temperament. Even when she was still hurting she gave kisses and licks to the vets and the people transporting her to safety. She has no behavioral issues as a result of the abuse. Molly is housetrained, and is a great house dog. She enjoys hanging out with her people and lounging. Molly would love to have a fenced yard to keep her safe since we know Beagles like to follow their noses.
Molly does have epilepsy and had some seizures before going on phenobarbital to control them. Since she has been on the seizure meds she has not had any more seizures. Her meds cost $12 a month. Molly needs bloodwork every year to make sure she is on the right dosage of phenobarbital.
Molly is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, heartworm tested and microchipped. Molly is crate trained when no one is at home. Molly gets along with other dogs and people of all ages. She is a complete sweetheart who deserves someone who loves her and will always treat her kindly and gently.
