Hi there. My name is Buttons and I am a 4-5 yr. old beagle boy that was rescued several months ago from a terrible living situation in North Carolina. I was adopted by a family in June and thought that I would live there forever, but unfortunately it was not meant to be that way for me. I was recently surrendered back to Penny Angels because my family’s work hours changed and they didn’t have time to take care of me. Now, I have to start my search for another home all over again.

I am a good little boy, only weighing 17 lbs. I am adorable and as 'cute as a button', as per my name. I am crate trained and housetrained. I like to play with other dogs and would love to have a doggie friend in my new home. I would also do well as an only dog if someone is home for part of the day and can spend some time with me. I like attention and love to be held! I will sit with you for hours, just to keep you company! If you tell me how cute I am, I will soak up your kind words. I would do best in a home with a person who is familiar with beagles.
