Cashew's Story...
Say hello to Cashew! Cashew is a petite 1.5 year old girl, super affectionate, chatty young cat. Cashew is a friendly, passive girl, and would love the company of another passive feline friend. Cashew enjoys playing with the permanent cat and kitten at her foster home and is great with kids. Left alone for too long, Cashew can get very vocal so it would be great if there isn’t another cat for her to play with, that her human is home a lot to keep her company. Cashew loves to be picked up and snuggled. Cashew always minds her manners and doesn’t scratch furniture or people. She loves her cat tree, scratching posts, playing with the water from the faucet, catnip treats (LOVES THEM ACTUALLY). Cashew is very happy sitting by a window and watching the great outdoors. Cashew really dislikes dogs, so she would have to go to a home without one.

Cashew was a fantastic mom to her three kittens who have all been adopted and is now ready for a lap to call her own. Cashew is clean, loveable and the perfect little house guest, ready for her forever home.

She is spayed, microchipped and current on all vaccinations.

Cashew will be adopted directly from her foster home, so if you would like to meet her, or for more information, contact us at: or (905) 301-3532, or fill out an online application:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cashew, a Oakville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Oakville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Oakville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakville paves the way for another one to be saved.
