Ruby Tuesday Morning's Story...
~ 9 yrs old ~ Hound Mix ~ 69 lb ~ NEEDS A FOSTER HOME ~

Duda, a/k/a Ruby Tuesday Morning, has been with her owner since she was 6 months old, but now needs to find a new home. You see, Duda’s owner lost her job and then her home and is now renting a room where dogs aren’t allowed, so Duda is staying with a friend, but can’t much longer.

At 9 years old, Duda is said to be mellow but gets excited when her person gets home – as any good dog should! She is said to respond to commands to get down, sit, and come. She hasn’t had a lot of experience with children, ignores cats, and kind of likes to hang out with other dogs, but she really just prefers being with her person. Maybe you can be her person.

She is quite fashion forward, as you can see from the pictures, and would love to brighten your home with her smile and presence. If you can foster or adopt Ruby, please e-mail icanhelp@beaglemaryland.org!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ruby Tuesday Morning, a Waldorf Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Waldorf, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Waldorf.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waldorf already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waldorf breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waldorf paves the way for another one to be saved.
