Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Heather is a Take Me Home courtesy post. Heather is not affiliated with Take Me Home. She is not under our care. Take Me Home is not responsible for any adoptions through private parties. If you have a place in your heart and home for Heather, she will repay you a million times in hugs and kisses. If interested, please contact Maria at mtfaillace@gmail.com
Meet Heather, a beautiful and sweet two-year-old blue Pit mix, who is on the petite side at only 45 lbs. Poor Heather got off to a rough start in life. She almost died of pneumonia at the shelter after being brought in as a stray. Lucky for Heather, a rescuer recognized her potential and took her home, where she endured twice a day breathing treatments -- always smiling and giving kisses despite her discomfort.
After recovering, Heather spent a week with an awesome trainer to learn perfect manners because she didn't have a lot of experience with other dogs -- but she knew she liked them. She also loves people and kids and even cats. Heather is spayed, house-broken, micro-chipped and up-to-date on all her shots. She's also good on a leash and in a car.
