Facts about Fergie

  • Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix
  • Color: Black
  • Age: Adult
  • Size: Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
  • Sex: Female
Fergie is a lovely girl with a happy, gentle and sweet temperament. She is about 5 years old and a bit on the chunky side. She could stand to lose some weight... can't we all?

Fergie is very well behaved and took to her crate right away. She is the perfect family companion. She is gentle enough for kids and loves having other dogs around to talk to. Fergie is definitely a follower. She is on the submissive side and looks to her people to tell her what to do.

Fergie is healthy & spayed, current on her vaccinations. All she needs to make her life complete is a loving family who will make her the center of attention!

If you are interested in providing a loving, forever home for Fergie, please see our web site for additional information. Complete the adoption application and we will be in touch! www.LoneStarLabRescue.org

About Lone Star Labrador Retriever Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Lone Star Labrador Retriever Rescue (Lone Star Lab Rescue) is a non-profit, all volunteer organization dedicated to preventing the needless destruction of Labrador Retrievers in the DFW/Dallas/Fort Worth area by: rescuing them from shelters providing sanctuary for them in temporary foster homes providing appropriate medical care (including spaying and neutering) finding responsible and loving permanent homes for them. Lone Star Labrador Retriever Rescue will, when possible, assist Good Samaritans who have found stray Labradors and will also assist owners, who for a wide variety of reasons, feel they must find a new home for their Labrador. Lone Star Labrador Retriever Rescue is also committed to educating the public about responsible dog ownership. We believe that responsible pet owners spay or neuter their animals, keep them on an annual vaccination program, provide heartworm and flea preventative on a year round basis, provide basic training, and maintain their dogs as “inside” members of the family rather than as “outside” yard dogs. All of our members and volunteers have one thing in common: They all love labs! If you would like to volunteer to help save endangered Labs, please email us at info@lonestarlabrescue.org
