Bo's Story...
Bo is a 3 year old, 14 pound Jack Russell Terrier. Bo is great with other dogs and cats. He adores people and wants to be everyone's best friend. This little love bug loves to cuddle up and will push his nose into you to ask for a stroke or belly scratch. His favorite perch in the home is a warm lap. Bo is playful with his toys and even knows how to fetch!

He is the perfect balance of calm, affectionate and playful. He does well traveling by subway or car and would love weekends away with you. Bo is super smart and knows how to sit and come when you call his name.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bo, a New York Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in New York, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
