Luna's Story...
Luna is a 7-8 year old, 30 pound Schnauzer mix. Luna is a total sweetheart who loves everyone she meets. She likes being outside and exploring the parks and neighborhood. She's super cuddly and very affectionate! She adores being pet and getting massages. She is playful with her plush toys and does an adorable little growling noise at them. When home she can be found cuddling on the sofa under a blanket like a little burrito. Luna is house trained and walks great on a leash. She's a great traveler and is happy on the subway, in cars, or walking. Check out her little video.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a New York Schnauzer (Standard)/Kerry Blue Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Kerry Blue Terrier for sale in New York, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Kerry Blue Terrier dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Kerry Blue Terrier breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Kerry Blue Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
