Plenty of my friends are looking

Bud's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Bud's Story...
His best canine bud is Honey but he would love for his best human bud to be you, so please give "Bud" a chance to show you his fantastic personality. He's a super sweet tri-colored Beagle weighing in at 25 pounds and only 3 yrs. old. This well behaved boy is outgoing, very affectionate and tries so hard to please you. He was taken from a very bad situation and dreams of a home who will not abuse him. Please come and meet Bud and Honey and double the love coming your way.

For more information or to visit Bud and Honey, submit an online dog adoption application at http://hsfc.org/adoptions/applications/online/. After reviewing the application, staff will contact you—typically within two business days— to make an appointment to visit the Farm in Centreville, VA, where our dogs and horses are kept.

Our dogs and horses are NOT at the HSFC shelter at 4057 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax, VA--only our cats, birds, rabbits, and small mammals can be visited there. Come by and see us!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bud, a Fairfax Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Fairfax, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Fairfax.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fairfax already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fairfax breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fairfax paves the way for another one to be saved.
