I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.
This beautiful young cat is named Kia. She hitchhiked a ride in the engine of a car to the Somerset Kia dealership where she was discovered by the service mechanic. She is a long-haired diluted calico approximately 4 months old (as of Oct. 2016). Kia has a sweet disposition, gets along well with other cats and is litter box trained. Kia is anxious to find a home of her own with a family that will love her. She needs to be an indoor cat.
The Pulaski County Humane Society is a growing number of volunteers who feel that animals are an important part of lives here in Pulaski County. Our animals reside primarily in foster homes, so we are limited in the number of animals we can rescue. We always need more volunteers to help us save more pets.
Come Meet Our Pets...
We have monthly Adoptathons on the 3rd Saturday of each month at Somerset Mall in Somerset, Kentucky. We also have a monthly adopt-a-thon on the first Saturday of each month at PetSense in Somerset. You can also make appointments to meet the animals by calling 606-451-2367.
Our Adoption Process...
The adoption process consists of the adopters meeting the animals, filling out a bit of paper work, paying the adoption fee, and agreeing to a post-placement home visit. The adoption fees are: $95 for dogs/puppies older than 6 months and $125 for puppies under 6 months old.
