Missy's Story...
Missy - this special girl was rescued from Camden NJ after being found as a stray. She has lived a hard life. Due to whatever happened to her in her past, her front teeth are ground down and therefore her tongue always hangs out. This makes it more difficult for her to eat than a normal dog. She is very gentle, likes other dogs (is actually kind of shy around them). She is crate trained and loves being outside as we believe she was kept outside. She is estimated to be 3-5 yrs old.

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ME, PLEASE FILL OUT AN APPLICATION (http://goo.gl/VLKtYw). Please do not call about the dog. Our adoption donation is $250 per dog unless otherwise stated. Our dogs are up to date on vaccines and spayed/neutered at the time of adoption. Please also visit our website for adoption events, fundraisers and other news. www.RecycledTails.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Missy, a Pottstown St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Pottstown, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Pottstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pottstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pottstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pottstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
