Gracie is a 4 month old Pied Mastiff pup who needs a home that's more set up to handle her puppy exuberance. Her current family loves her dearly, but she is proving to be too much for the senior Mastiff's in the home with her puppy play needs. While it breaks their heart to part with her, they know it's the only way to give every doggy family member the quality of life they deserve.
Gracie's owner says she is a sweet girl that has been raised with both Mastiff's and Chihuahua's. She's also spent a significant time around the owner's grandchildren, ages 9 months to 4 years. She is a large pup (53 lbs and just getting bigger!) so she will need to be monitored around any small children in a future home. We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website (www.bullpenrescue.org) under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you’re interested in is a good match.
Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a “perfect placement” so we know that they will not be failed again.
