My basic info
Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a violet female chinchilla who’s looking for her new home. She came to the rescue just a bit ago, and is now ready to leave and go to a family of her own.
She was born around 4/11/2016, making her right around 5 months old. Her color is called violet, which is a purplish grey color that is over her back, and then of course she has a white belly. Very pretty color, not something you see all the time.
This girl is actually a bit difficult to get pics of – but that’s only because she’s so sweet and outgoing! She keeps coming right up to the front of the cage to see what I’m doing. She’s actually pretty easy to scoop up in your hands, and she loves to explore! So after you’ve scooped her up, she may climb up your arms to check everything out. She does well with being handled and petted, and actually seems to enjoy being petted as she does settle down nicely in your arms when she is being petted. She would likely enjoy playtime or a wheel when she is old enough (6+ months). She is a very sweet girl and doesn’t bite.
She would make a great “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had one before.
This chinchilla is currently caged alone. However, if you interested in pairing her up with your, or one of our, chinchillas, let us know and we’ll see what we can do.
This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (Tradition pellets), a goodie bag of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. She will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.
Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet and fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire. If you are unwilling to do this, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
