Truffles is an adorable and sweet little boxer/pit mix that is only 5 months old and has already been through such a tough ordeal in her young life. She came to us with several of her friends over the summer when they were all removed from some terrible circumstances. They were living in tiny cages in filth and were starving too. After spending several weeks under medical care, the pups are big and strong, and ready to move on with their lives. Truffles is one of the more shy and reserved of the bunch when it comes to meeting new people. She simply loves people but just takes a little time to get up the courage to go out for a walk with you and check out the world. Once she's out and comfortable, she's a happy little puppy that wants to run, play, and enjoy life. She will need basic puppy training but she is already so well behaved. Truffles will need a home with no children under 10 but she gets along just fine with other dogs. She would be overjoyed if you gave her the great home that she has yet to experience.
