Mint (7.26 pounds)'s Story...
Sweet, sweet, Mint. This precious senior needs a home that is quiet, laid back, and able to let her just relax. She had several mammary tumors, was underweight, and had terrible GI upset. She's finally gaining weight, tummy is better, and her most problematic tumors have been removed. The results came back that the big one was malignant and the other was benign, but she has several tiny ones left along the mammary chain. Regardless, this beautiful Pekingese wants nothing more than a seriously fluffy dog bed and to take naps.
She is tiny and doesn't take up much space... So... do YOU have room for a special baby like her?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mint (7.26 pounds), a College Station Pekingese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pekingese for sale in College Station, or seeking a Pekingese dog from a breeder in College Station.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in College Station already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a College Station breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pekingese breeders who help with Pekingese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in College Station paves the way for another one to be saved.
