Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Traveler is a very sweet and loving, five-year-old, 7.5-pound, female Yorkie-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Traveler was born in a home with numerous dogs. She’s great with all other dogs - big and small, and gets along just fine with dog-loving cats. She loves going on leashed walks. She does not know any formal commands yet, but she is a smart and clever girl who catches onto new routines quickly.
Traveler was raised by a woman and although she is good with people, I have not seen her with children, yet.
Traveler bonds very closely and lovingly to one person and would be happy to sit in your lap all day and give you gentle kisses. She loves to be picked up and carried and will beg you to carry her around. She is great on stairs and while she loves to go outside, she will also use a pee pad in the house.
To meet and possibly adopt Traveler, please contact her foster mom Sheri at petraits@interaccess.com to fill out an adoption application and then call her at 773-777-2891 to schedule an appointment to meet her. She is being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood – near Lawrence and Ashland.
Traveler is healthy, de-wormed, spayed, up-to-date on rabies and distemper vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. Her adoption fee of $350 benefits rescue.
