JEMMA's Story...
Jemma is a beautiful little Jack Russell Terrier mix girl. She was born around the middle of September, 2014. Her family didn't have her spayed---the most handsome stranger she had ever seen passed through her neighborhood---and a litter of precious puppies were the result. Her family didn't want the puppies, and they decided they didn't want her either, so PAWS was contacted. Jemma wants her puppies to all find homes, and she would like one, too. She's a lovely little lady---good looking, very sweet, likes people, and does well with dogs. If you are looking for a small young dog, but not a puppy, come meet Jemma. She may be exactly what you've been searching for! When she leaves PAWS, she will be spayed, micro-chipped, dewormed, heartworm tested, and current on her routine shots.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JEMMA, a Anna Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Anna, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Anna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Anna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Anna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Anna paves the way for another one to be saved.
