This adorable little lady is Toffee, a 5 month old boxer/pit puppy that is so happy to moving on with her life and ready for a home of her own. Toffee was one of several puppies that we removed from a terrible situation over the summer. The pups were living in tiny cages in a basement with little food to eat and no human interaction. Toffee was so thin when she arrived but after several weeks of good care, she's big, healthy, and so happy to starting life over again. Toffee has lots of confidence when she is wrestling around with her siblings and all snuggled up next to them but on her own, she is still a little nervous and unsure of new situations. She is so friendly and happy to meet new people, but she is not yet used to the outdoors or being able to run and play like a puppy. She's learning quickly but will need patience and some basic training. Toffee gets along just fine with other dogs but will need a home with no children under 10. She positively loves people and will climb right into your lap the moment you kneel down. She is so happy to be treated with kindness and she has so much love to give in return to the good family that welcomes her home. File#26557 8/9/16
