My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

King is a one year old Jack Russell mix. He weighs about 13 pounds and is just the life of the party! King loves every dog he ever meets. In his foster home, he is friends with every dog If an award was given to this foster home, King would get "BEST PERSONALITY". If you love to hike, take strolls or even an easy walk, King is your partner. If you come home and have had a bad day, King will make you forget all about your problems and give you kisses and snuggle time. King is potty trained and looking for that wonderful forever home to return his LOVE! King is NOT a barker like some JRT!

If you are interested in giving King a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

King's adoption donation is $495 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), rabies, vet examination, certificate of health and transport fees. King is heart worm negative and is current of heart worm and flea/tick prevention.

King is living with a foster family in Tennessee. He is available for adoption to the east coast and the Chicago area. We use a weekly transport to the northeast. PETS LLC. They have a website, so check them out. Transport to Chicago is twice a month.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home.
